Rock/Alternative

I’m originally from North New Jersey (Lake Hopatcong), but moved to Strongsville, Ohio when I was 16 and in 1985, joined the Air Force on a whim because I had nothing better to do, no desire to go to college and really had no direction. As a cop, I was stationed at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, Rhein Main AB, Germany and Randolph AFB outside of San Antonio, Texas. In 1992, I deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operations Desert Storm and Calm. Upon return, I took a special duty assignment teaching Airman Leadership School until 1997 when I retrained into safety. My family and I left Texas in 1997 for Langley AFB, Virginia and I then went on an unaccompanied assignment to Lajes Field in the Azores, Portugal. Upon return, we ended up at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, Texas where in 2004, I deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom at Bagram, Afghanistan and Jacobabad, Pakistan. I retired in 2005 as a Master Sergeant after 20 years and 10 days. I finished my Masters degree in Occupational Safety and Health in 2008 and currently work for the United States Army Medical Command at Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio, Texas. I am thankful for my time in the military because I wouldn’t have any of the things I have now: the coolest wife in the world (Karen) since 1987, three wonderfully grown children, a grandson, five dogs and a 2006 Harley Davidson Road King Classic that Karen bought me for our 20th wedding anniversary. I am a rabid NY Yankees and NY Giants sports fan and love to play board and video games. Someday, I hope to become a full time musician and have been in several bands that have opened for national acts such as Eddie Money, Burden Brothers, Dokken, Saxon, Queensryche and Texas Hippie Coalition. The music you hear on my personal GI Jams site is a vast departure from the music I write with my current band “Destruction Evolution” who is also a GI Jams artist and recently signed a Rhino (Warner's) distribution deal and EMI administration deal. With Destruction Evolution, I had the honor of performing at the inaugural GI Jams Showcase at the Cannery Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas where I got to meet a lot of great people, including Denny & Biddy and Ric Ulsky for the first time. What an honor to meet such stand-up folks. I also have the honor of performing the National Anthem at numerous sporting events such as San Antonio Spurs, Rampage and Missions games, as well as military ceremonies and functions.
