Last Day Of Duck Season
Hunting With My Son
We went out early this morning to see if we could get a couple of ducks to grill for dinner tonight. We came up a little short, my son hunts with a gun, I hunt with a camera. We have one more chance prior to sunset so we'll head out again this afternoon. Anyone for some duck l'orange?? Thanks to all who continue to check out this website. Keep watching for some new tunes! TRIP TO MAINE
25 Below Zero
Just got back from a great week in Maine, ice fishing, shoveling the driveway, and celebrating my mother's B-Day! (not necessarily in that order). It is always a risk trying to fly to Maine in Jan but both travel days were perfect. I will say that since I left the state in 1986 my blood has definitely thinned. The temps were below zero most of the time but the morning I left it was -25F. Quite a contrast to the almost 70 degrees I came home to. I also had to get another picture of the "Bridge Out Back"!

5th Annual Holiday Party
Benefit For Cancer Patients
Tonight my wife held her 5th annual "Tree Skirt"; yes, that's right, the ladies all wear their favorite Christmas Tree Skirt as part of their apparel. Not only is it a lot of fun for all but it is for a good cause. My wife collects blankets for patients who receive chemo that they can take with them at the end of their treatment. This was the first time I got to witness the event and I have to say I'm proud of her effort and the support she receives from friends. I've uploaded a few pictures from the day. HOLIDAY SEASON
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE..HAPPY HOLIDAYS
It has been quite a year and as the holidays approach I just want to ask everyone to keep the armed forces in mind, those who can't be home with loved ones and those who are standing guard around the world. FAMILY FUN
COLT FORD CONCERT
Hey Ya'll! Had a great time last night seeing Colt Ford with the family. He's an amazing entertainer and if he comes to your area I'd recommend it. I know there are a lot of GIs out there that have not uploaded their music to Gi Jams yet. All I can say is C'mon!! Thanks for the continued support, and as always, thanks for listening. Jerard
