Chris Owston started playing guitar at age 12 under the tutelage of his father, Chuck Owston. He played his first gig in Pittsburgh at age 16. Chris enlisted in the Navy in 1991 and has been fortunate enough to meet and play with many talented musicians throughout his military career. He has played in the bands Illusion in San Diego, Crimson Burnout in Quantico VA and most recently CounterPoint in Jacksonville NC. He has also made guest appearances with Chuck's band Bonfire Night in Pittsburgh. Chris is currently stationed at Camp Lejeune NC and working on an instrumental rock guitar CD. |
