Hello to all our Veterans. Here is a little bit about me. Name: Kevin, Branch: Navy (Retired Seabee), Where I live: Greater Boston Area, Work: I work as an Activities Coordinator/Bus Driver/Musician for the Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA. It's a Great Job! I work everyday with our Veterans from WWII to Iraqi and Afghanistan War Veterans. Our Heroes. My main picture: I sang the National Anthem and God Bless America for the Boston Red Sox on 30 May 2005. It was an awesome experience! The song I wrote is titled "Veteran of Yesteryear". I wrote it after being inspired by a WWII Veteran and POW. He was my friend and my hero. The nicest gentleman I have ever met. He was 96 years old when the Lord called him home. I miss him. |
