I was raised in a small town in Northern Maine, close to the Canadian Border. I learned at an early age what it meant to work for a living; how to shovel snow, cut wood, cut grass and rake blue berries. In college I learned how to play guitar via the Monkey-See; Monkey-Do method; it was just enough to strum a few chords and muscle through some melodies...A seed was planted. After college I joined the Marine Corps and learned what it means to serve, to put others before self, to be proud of Our Flag and Country and find Faith. It was through this experience that I discovered the slow southern charm of the Carolinas and two worlds collided. I have the best of both worlds now and love raising my family in the south and visiting my family in the north. They all have been my inspiration! Songwriting has become a great hobby for me and my ultimate "professional" goal is to be signed by a publishing company as a staff writer. I am currently working on my second CD, untitled (TBD).
