As an Flight Deck Aircraft Director, ABH1 Andre Hardin finds it quite difficult to manage writing music during high tempo operations, but the passion for creating keeps him energized during down time. For an enlisted person in the Navy, there is no more a challenging operating environment that a US Navy aircraft carrier flight deck. Hardins initial set of orders placed him on the USS Nimitz. There he found several outlets for getting away from the grind such as the gym, reading and basketball, but nothing could grasp his attention off the clock, the way that music could. After completing tours on USS Truman, hospital ship USNS Mercy, and Amphibious Assault Ship USS Peleliu, Hardin has been busier than ever. While on active duty his pursuit of attaining his degree in music along with constant writing and performing is exhausting but rewarding none the less. Delivering Hip Hop from the eyes and ears of the military's enlisted, Hardin is one to watch take off.
