American Attitude is a rock band from Jacksonville, Florida that is made up of 4 military members who are actively serving. The band initially formed in March 2007 to entertain their fellow Airmen at their base NCO club. Within no time, American Attitude was receiving calls to play at other military bases and also civilian music venues. They originally started off as a cover band, but recently made the transition to playing mostly all original material and have garnered much attention for their fun and often light hearted songs. They have been fortunate enough to play hundreds of shows at both civilian bars and on military installations; entertaining the troops and have also shared the stage with several national acts. American Attitude is on the Armed Forces Entertainment Agency's roster, so if you'd like to see them perform, please request them through the AFE. The band features 3 Air Force and 1 Navy guy; TSgt Chris Henderson (Lead Vocals), AWF1 Matt Smithers (Bass), MSgt Marc Myers (Drums), and MSgt Shawn Watchorn (Guitar). All in all, American Attitude is four hard working men who love their country; serving during the day and rocking at night!
