From 2006 to 2007 Cadillac Rock Box recorded two self funded albums with renowned music producer Joey Z (Life of Agony and Stereomud) at his Method of Groove Studio in Brooklyn, NY, funded and headlined their own “The Ruckus 2007” tour bringing along other local acts to share the stage with and mentor from New York to North Carolina, selling out all merch and CDs. ----------- Highlights: Appearing as a featured artist on BandboTV (live performance and interview), HOOAHRadio (interview), official band of The SGT Freedom campaign, songs Seven Years, Hail Mary, and Rain used as both sprint car and MMA fighters music, headlining the 2006 and 2008 “Voices From The Homefront Festival”, raising money for our Veterans, a 16 week, sixteen city Loud and Local concert series, Flying Dog Brewery’s GonzoFest co-headliner, being awarded the fans choice out of 600 bands to open the 2007 BlocktoberFest at RFK stadium in Washington, D.C. on the DC101 Main Stage. All in all, Cadillac Rock Box has played to thousands of fans, both military and civilian. Cadillac Rock Box coordinated and attained sponsorship for many military shows and purchased 100’s of tickets to allow service members into venues they played at for free. They also coordinated with various service and Veteran related organizations such as IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) and Vets for Freedom, American Legion and VFW as well as playing dozens of private homecoming shows for returning OIF/OEF war fighters all the while raising money and donating proceeds to military charities. Regretfully, CRB decided to halt promotional operations on MySpace when the band went on hiatus in December of 2008. Numbers from 2005-2008 were over 200,000 plays with over 180,000 views, with 37,000+ active fans and friends who still listen, post, and email CRB to come back out and bring “The Ruckus”. “We just basically took a breather from it all and took time to do our own things, but, we did post on our MySpace that CRB was on a long break.
